Business Development Manager

Exciting new opportunity to join a well-established company, due to continued expansion.

Job Title: Business Development Manager 

Working Hours: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £20k basic per annum plus commission, OTE £45k

Docuflow is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager with skills and focus on identifying and winning new business who has experience of selling all or one of the following, managed print services, hybrid, outsourced mail, digital transformation, document, content management and workflow software.

Docuflow provides organisations across the UK with their infrastructure for managed print solutions (hardware and associated support agreements), document, content management and workflow software, mail solutions and digital transformation as organisations move from paper and manual processes.

You will be responsible for the end to end sales cycle with CRM and Marketing tools available to identify potential new clients and opportunities. This role has been created due to continued expansion and will report to the Sales Director. You will be required to:

  • Find new opportunities and respond to leads
  • Identify which of our partners are suitable for the opportunity
  • Be able to set-up face to face meeting and conduct webinars
  • Be familiar with CRM systems preferably Salesforce
  • Identify key organisations and contacts and be able to open and close the sales cycle
  • Be able to articulate and expand the Docuflow offering into new customers and cross sell our services and solutions
  • Ensure the CRM is kept up to date with accurate information
  • Learn new products and software solutions


  • Must be able to work in the UK
  • 2+ year of successful experience in sales, preferably in the MPS, document and software industry
  • Articulate and fluent in English

Skills required

  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken, must be confident and dynamic using the phone, e-mail and in person
  • A record of new business development success through effective use of core sales tools using tools such as Salesforce, D&B Hoovers, Office 365 Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic, persistent, and able to work independently
  • Highly motivated with a very strong work ethic, focussed and persistent and able to work independently and remotely
  • High level of honesty and integrity with a desire to build a successful career and company
